Adding Your First Site

  1. Go to the Dashboard and click Add New Site (or navigate to /dashboard/sites/new).

  2. Enter your site URL — must start with https:// or http://. PerfLeaf will auto-detect a site name from the domain.

  3. Auto-detection — once you move focus away from the URL field, PerfLeaf automatically:

    • Detects your frontend framework and CMS (e.g. Next.js, WordPress).
    • Checks for a sitemap.xml and pre-fills the sitemap URL if found.
  4. Review tech stack — confirm or manually override the detected Frontend Framework and CMS / Backend dropdowns. These help PerfLeaf tailor its recommendations.

  5. Sitemap crawling — if a sitemap was detected you’ll see the Use Sitemap for Crawling checkbox already ticked. You can provide a custom sitemap URL if yours is at a non-standard path.

  6. Click Save — your site is created and you’re taken to its settings page.

After saving, PerfLeaf will:

  • Store your site in the dashboard.
  • Let you configure crawl settings, integrations (GA4, GitHub), and scan frequency from the Site Settings page.

The number of sites you can add depends on your plan
