Overview

PerfLeaf is a web performance monitoring tool that crawls your sites on a schedule (or on demand) and produces detailed reports covering Core Web Vitals, accessibility, security, CO₂ emissions, and more.

  1. Add a site — provide a URL and optional tech-stack details.
  2. Configure scan settings — choose crawl mode, frequency, and integrations.
  3. Run a scan — manually trigger a scan or let the scheduler do it automatically.
  4. Review the report — explore per-page metrics, performance scores, AI suggestions, and trends.
  5. Act on insights — use AI recommendations and action plans to fix issues.

A site is a root URL you want to monitor (e.g. https://example.com). Each site has its own settings, reports, and trend history.

A report is a snapshot of your site at a point in time. It contains aggregated metrics across all crawled pages plus per-page drill-downs.

A scan is the process that generates a report. Scans can be:

  • Manual — triggered by you from the dashboard.
  • Scheduled — run automatically at a set frequency (daily, weekly).
  • Commit-triggered — run automatically when a new GitHub commit is detected.

Every report is given a grade (A–D) based on six metric categories: Core Web Vitals, Page Assets, Accessibility, Security, DOM Stats, and CO₂. See Performance Scores for details.
